how can i stop fanbelt squealing?

I have new fanbelt on bmw 316i 1992 tensioner is at max but still squeals

make sure the new belt is the right one, are you tensioning on the alternator adjustment ?/mounting.needs a bit of play in belt between pulleys. oil getting onto area can make it slip too. hope this is helpfull
