i get intermitant hot water when tap on?

i have a vaillant 824e turbomax when i run hot water tap i get hot cold hot water ,the boiler turns off in between what can b faulty thx

When running the tap, watch the temperature display on the boiler, if it reaches (approximately) 84c before shutting down then coming in again at 70-80c you have a blockage in the domestic plate heat exchanger
