White Knight 38AW banging noise?

Hi, My new girlfriend has the above appliance and has told me that the dryer bangs around when working. It has now snapped the belt, so before I order a new belt I was wondering what is the cause? I have removed the back panel and have noted how the drum rotates, but not sure if the bearings were worn or what the felt seal does!
Any advise would be appriciated.

lift the drum out the top and check the front bearings for wear.will be a very tight fit but with the back panel removed it just spreads enough to come out.sometimes you can see a black mark on the outside of the drum if it has been catching.felt is to seal to the drum to stop fluff going in to the cabinet during use.back panel cutting through the drum is common so you do need to fully strip and check before ordering a belt.metal fan at the back catching the cabinet is another noise source
