Cold Starting difficult on my Peugeot 106 M reg 1.5?

Cold Starting difficult on my Peugeot 106 M reg 1.5
Turns over well and eventually fires up, lots of smoke. Only a problem when cold. Have just fitted 4 new glow plugs. Car runs well when warm. Any ideas?

Thanx guys, smoke goes when it gets running and reved up. Starts smoking and running rough when left to tick over when just started from cold. This car runs a treat when it has warmed up and does not smoke at all. I had the injector pump changed for another from a crashed 106, 69k miles on the clock. The guy who fitted it had a lot of trouble getting it started once the pump had been fitted, drove fine on the way home but very difficult to start the next morning. I can see a few air bubbles in the clear pipe leading to the pump on cold start up, would these few bubbles cause such a problem starting?

will smoke as when you turn it over its pumping diesel into the cylinders once it fires up its trying to burn all the unburnt fuel understand..............

hey im not sure but if you get smoke when she is running the piston rings are shot, other than that you might be losing fuel pressure thats why it might not start, check fuel filter and pump
