i have lost reverse gear. all other gears work fine. i have changed the oil and still no joy. when i select reverse there is a slight judder and when i try and go backwards the engine just revs and the car rocks slightly sometimes the speedo goes up aswell. if any one has any info on this i would be so greatfull

If its 5 speed the usual fault for no reverse is removing the band anchor bolt to refill transmission instead of the plug at the top of the front cover. If its a 4 speed then you will have no engine braking in first position. For specialist www.fedauto.co.uk The box will need removing in both cases
