Torsion bushes on ford courier?

I need the torsion bar bushes changed on my W reg ford courier kombi van. I'm told it's a nightmare of a job but I can't get anyone to do the job.

A guy on here called Gareth mentioned that someone on ebay can change them for £90 per side but I can't find anything on ebay.

Can anyone help?

you may be cheaper to source a complete axle assy from a scrappy then you dont need to worry about seized parts etc

yes a real bad job to do -need axle out heavy duty press -to press torsion bar out and oxy/acetelyne to heat up same, then you need to press bush from arm-to do this i used to weld a substantial washer on end of bush sleeve to give something to press against!if you do one side at a time you can set position of arm same as opposite side.outer part of bush can be removed with hammer and drift.make sure all splines on torsion bar are cleaned and slide into mating components easily [in case susp height needs adjusting. good luck!
