how can i fix the drivers seat on my mk2 mondeo ghia?

the seat in my mondeo is electrical and wont go up and down never has

find the plug under the seat that goes to the motor and see if theres a live and earth from loom if there is then fuse ok swap switch with passenger window switch to check that if still same its the motor (never known 1 to go yet) but can get 1 cheap from scrapyard
