hi my computer seems very slow and does any1 know what i could do to make it faster and i need info on how to partition the hard disk it would be great help if any1 helps me out thanks

Not enough memory could make your PC slow down I would suggest 512mb minimum nowadays. A virus could also be a problem, make sure you are running up todate patterns on your anti virus. Another cause could be spyware run spybot search and destroy, and also adaware. There are free editions of both these

You don't say what your PC is nor your opoerting system but here goes. If it is W98, go to Start, programs, accesories, system tools, disk clean up. Disk cleanup will delete any unwanted files that are cluttering up your disk. Next same sequence but choose Disk Defragmenter. Disk Defragmenter will tidy up your disk and make the PC run faster. If you have WXP its the same but it's ALL PROGRAMS. Why do you want to partition your hard drive. It can be done but you'll need to get a utility to do it. Why not just put a second drive in, they'e cheap enough thess days?
