Princess Home Breadmaker 1934 trips power supply/electricity in Bake mode?

I bought a 2nd hand (unused) breadmaker (Princess 1934) and it kneads etc well but when it goes to Bake mode, the electricity in my home trips! Is this due to smthg wrong with the heating element or smthg else? How can I fix this?

I think an old oven someone gave us also tripped our power supply whenever its switched on.

Hope that someone can help me!

Thanks!

get it checked by an electrician,it sounds like the elements in both units are shorted to earth,we use a megger to check between live and earth,do NOT use the units again until they have been tested
