Main Oven burner stays on low flame?

How can I fix the burner in the main oven of my Canon Pearl Duo gas cooker; no. 10243G. It ignites but will not go to a higher flame after the one minute delay despite being on the highest control knob setting of 9.

most probably the flame failure device (FFD) cost £40-£60 on internet ,has to be fitted by gas engineer
