me again about astra 2.2 chain?

i am unlocking the tensioner by pressing the rail against it unlocking it. people tell me to start the car to let the oil pressure build up but too nervous incase it bends valves again.

once its released you have to start it to tension up tight its the only way as long as its timed up right will be ok
