Having read all the problems I still like the look of the Megane estate 1.5 (and the fuel consumption). Most of the problems seem to relate to vehicles older than 06. Some one told me that from about 07 onwards the problems have been solved. Is this true? Failing that any ideas on an estate car with excellent fuel consumption and rare problems?

After reading about the many faults that Renaults have, you still want to buy one because "I still like the look of it". It wont look so good on a dark stormy night when it's broken down, which it will do. Get a more reliable car than this, because "you're worth it"
