socket size 35mm/0r 29mm?

Can anybody tell me the size of the socket i will need to remove the nut on the back wheels of a ford focus its ten years old i want to replace the breaks and i need a socket a man at ford said it was 35 mm but it looks very big is this the correct size i have read on hear it is a 29mm now i am confused as to what to buy

Thanks cdc... it’s a 35 mm well ford told me I have another question for you if I want to change the back breaks to disks like the front is that a difficult job...and would it make a difference to the mot?

sorry to confuse you but I use a 1``3/16 socket which I think is roughly a 35mm
