how can i fixa renault clio driver window?

how can i repair the mechanism in the driver's window
terry walker, August 2006
I have a Clio 2000 reg and the window motor will onlt take the window down, and at closer inspection on of the cables have come undone. Plus the motor is making an awful noise of cables crunching up ???? Can anybody help me ???? Should I get a new motor or could I pull out the cables a check them and possibly tidy cables and re connect them ????

Can't agree with that in the UK leanne. All garages can and do do regulators. Having been in the motor trade I recently installed a new regulator in my Land Rover Discovery and another in my partner's Mercedes - which had a new motor as well. Fiddly but no real problems.

my window on a peugout 406 did that had to replace whole motor but quite complicated as you have to be careful the glass doesn't fall out would advise to take it to a garaage that has an electrician as most garage dealers won't touch it

Depends what is wrong with it - you don't say so it's difficult to advise a fix. If you mean the mechival bit (known as the regulator) is broken you don't fix them, you replace them and a Haynes manual will show you how.
