Proline TDC7A condenser dryer works in every way but with no heat?

Proline TDC7A condenser tumble dryer from currys Just has no heat at all, done all the manual suggests about cleaning hoovering etc but have no clue about what to do next, is the a thermostat i can find inside if i open it up? dont want to have to go out and get a new one cant really afford it. Please help me any info to help would be really appreciated thanks xxxx

does anybody have the diagram for the thermostat. i took it apart and have now forgotten where green/white ones go, as well as leads. HELP!!!!!!!!

could be the automatic cut off on the back, look for a button worked for me

Ah- i fixed it! Hurrah- here is how:

The thermostats are probably down. Un-screw the big metal bit that sticks out of the back- in there you will find the heating element. Then two small screws hold this in place- remove those. On the top you will find two small white things- one with a green dot. You need to replace these. Its very easy and will only cost £15. Go to TDSpares online as they have them- they are a very good online shop- i recieved mine the day after i ordered and their customer service is brilliant.

Hi...i have EXACTLY the same problem- I had it fixed under warranty but it has now happened again. And the store i bought it at wont take responsibility for the fact that the product is actually faulty.

I have taken it apart and there are 3 possible things that could be at fault. Im in the process of trying to work it out...will get back to you if i have any luck...
