cllutch close to floor and clutch shudder when cold?

Hi. I have a 313cdi 03 plate Sprinter. I have just had a used gearbox and new Clutch Kit fitted. Now the bite of the clutch is a bit close to the floor and when i move off in 1st when the engine is cold there is a gentle clutch shudder. Doe anyone think that this might be the Thrust Bearing needing changed? Cheers in advance for any help. Adrian.

it may just need bleeding properly. the release bearing will work, or not, so should be as was, is the pedal soft at the top?. gearbox cant affect it. is he clutch plate fitted the right way around? was the gearbox hung on the clutch during install, bending the plate?
shouldnt be too hard to fix, chuck it back at whoever fitted it

you should allways change the thrust bearing try to bleed it first see if pedal comes up
