engine management light?

The clock, time and date and the temperature in my corsa 1998 isn,t displaying any more. Also my orange engine light has come on. Could anyone tell me why please.

Hi
The display could be the bulb has gone . The engine light could be anything and you really need to have the car hooked up to a reader to find the cause, but check all your fluid level,s first just incase it,s something daft like low oil .
