have a look at the left side of the drum behind the inner door hinge, use a fat screwdriver etc to force the drum to the right (from the front with the outer door open) and use a torch to look past the hinge. Near the inner door hinge behind it there is a small rubber tube running down the outside of the drum that connects to a plastic reducer which itself fits into a larger rubber hose. It tends to break at the reducer, the small rubber pipe leads up to the control panel and tells it when its got enough water in via a vacuum switch. The small rubber pipe is pliable enough to force back onto the reducer and secure with a zip tie, unfortunately to do this you do have to take the whole front of the machine off.

This may be a problem with the pressure diaphram switch. This is a device that is connected to a small pipe that runs up the side of the drum. As the drum fills, this pipe also fills, as the water rises the water pressure expands a small rubber bladder inside. This bladder then pushes against a micro switch(this is contained inside the diapham switch) telling the control unit to stop the fill process. Not to sure if this is the way the dyson system works but this is how a conventional washer senses the levels.
