nissan primastar accelerator problem?

when i start my nissan primastar van i have no power above tickover for about a minute then power comes i have replaced egr valve what else can i do to cure this problem i can not travel any distance while van has this problem the van is a nissan primastar 1900dci

had same problem -changing air + fuel filter sorted it out! garage said it could have been alsorts of things quoting £200 - £1000 -Do change filters b4 spending large sums of money!

i changed the fuel filter and the air filter when i first aquired the van plus i changed the agr valve none of this has made any differance i have been told the accelerator pedal could be the problem changing the pedal would be very costly i dont want to do this till im sure its the problem can anyone help me please
