Hi there’s two reasons it could be one you have a dirty filter in the tank or more likely the carburettor diaphragm has gone we change these as standard on every b/s machine we service ether way you will need to have a new one any way as you have to split the tank to clean the filter to carry out this you will require a 10mm socket a ½ inch socket and a flat & pos screw driver please take correct health and safety when carrying out this procedures wear correct safety equipment
1)remove air filter flat screw on top
2)un bolt tank there’s a 10mm stud located at front and a ½ stud located at the side under where you have taken the air filter of
3)carefully remove and unclip throttle linkage
4)clean and remove pos screw around carb
5)gently remove carb from tank to revile diaphragm there are to filters on the carb both need cleaning
6)remove old diaphragm and replace in reverse order we sell the parts if you require them just email me as it will not let me put our web adds in
