White Knight Cl847 bearing trouble?

My White Knight CL847 tumble dryer has always been very noisy. Because of this it doesn't get much use, but is 6 years old. Last week it made some catastrophic noise and I suspect the noisy bearing has disintegrated. I cannot find a replacement bearing on line, just a bearing support kit and a reference to the fact that you can only get new bearings with a new drum. If this is the case it sounds like my dryer is only fit for the scrap heap. Can I repair it sensibly if I have diagnosed it correctly or should I just get a new one?

Thanks,

Dave

I know this is an old question, but I found that Crosslee (the manufacturer) sells all parts over the phone.

My bearing was £5.58 incl postage and delivery...
