Engine size?

Hi, I have bought a D series horsebox but cannot find the engine capacity. It is not on the V5 and DVLA do not have it either. Is there any way I can find out what the engine size is. It is a 1979 model.

top of cylinder block ,r/h side you should find casting pads with a number and/or letters punched into them,engine date code is on front pad and rear pad indicates engine capacity.re-post with the numbers you find,[will be like-360 rear and 703F 1L5 front.]
