i`ve just bought a 2ltr ghia mondeo 2002 model and it will not start? the coil pack and plugs have been replaced and still no good although it really tries to start and if it were manual i would think it would start with a tow but it`s an auto my friend put on his fault locater and found nothing there are no strange noises to suggest mechanical failures has anyone got any ideas

Alarm or immobiliser fault *
Fuel cut off switch activated*
Fuel injection sytem fault

##Major mechanical failure eg camshaft drive belt##
If the belt hasn't been changed at under 60,000 miles get it done. Obviously if that's the fault you'll have to anyway but trying to start may have caused damage.
Check online if Ford still active contac their tech servces.

Hope this helps. Don't try starting again until you know the cambelt is ok.
