As the Front & Side panels are one pressing, I found out the best way was by drilling out the (10) spot-welds on the rear top cross member and lift out the drum, complete with counterweights, after swinging the rear electronics to one side and removing the Electric motor.
Separating the Drum sections and replacing the bearings & seal are normal stuff.
I used M6 nuts & bolts to refit the top cross member....Good luck
