Accenta / Optima burglar alarm keeps going off when we set it. Help!?

3 years ago we had a honeywell accenta / optima alarm installed. in the last 2 weeks when we have tried to set it, the alarm has gone off every time within 3 minutes of us driving away. I cant find any troubleshooting advice in the user guide. Can anyone help?

On the panel of my Accenta/Optima alarm it says 'Tamper fault, lock out'. we have tried turning the power off to it, and it wont let me put my code in.

put the panel on walk test, check the panel ,see what led is lit, take note and check the zone,is there a tamper led lit up? if not, then its the sensor on the zone thats lit up,or could be the stand by battery in the control panel, try the walk test,

when your alarm goes off check the panel and find which zone has triggered the alarm, then disable that zone, if its not a zone then it could be the switch in the outside siren box thats faulty
