Suzuki AP 50?

Hi there, I have a two stroke 50 AP scooter 2002. (not the early one from suzuki)

It is not running- though it did when I first got it, after about five million kicks..it ran ok when warm but a devil to start when cold, now it wont start at all. It was standing when I got it, outside for a few months. it has low miles, about 7000. I stripped carb down and seems clean and the jets were ok. put fresh fuel in and nothing sparking ok and changed plug. Seems no fuel is getting through. Its a two stroke so pretty simple to work on but I am at a loss. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance

well it could be a number of things, does it have good compression ?have you checked the crankseals for any leaks (you will usually see a oil leak as it looks black and sticky)also the woodruff key may have sheared and put the igntion timing out, have you checked the vaccum tap is working ok and have you cleaned the jets out properly in the carb?
