Does any one know what may be wrong with my peugot street fighter on a 53 plate i have just rebuilt it after it has been stripped down it was running fine before i stripped it but when i rebuilt it the other day it started and runs fine but when i went to set of on it does not move just revs does any one know what may be wrong

did you take the variator off it when you rebuilt it?im not sure how far you went with your rebuild.if you have not done the nut up properly on the end of the variator it will not grip the belt and drive also it will strip the splines on the outer half of the variatorhave you checked the belt to make sure it isnt broken?either way you need to take the transmission cover off and have a look in there it should be obvious what the problem is when its off.

I'm not entirely sure, but check that you have no oil on your vairiator and maybe put looser springs on your vairiator and clutch :)
