our aeg favorit sensorlogic dishwasher does not heat up?

Do I need to replace the water heating element ?
If so can I get to it from the front or does it have to be pulled out. It was new in 2007
It is an integrated dishwasher and having investigated the option of pulling it out, it looks a nightmare! It was fitted before the work surfaces went on and the screws went in from the top and are now impossible to get to. Obviously if it is the only way we will have to get it out.

heater is at the back and will require you to pull the whole thing out HOWEVER it would be a good idea to take the control pcb out of the fascia panel and look at the heater pcb relay ,tracks as they can burn out.they need re soldering to repair if this is the case
