My Hoover Perform Eco 1300, wont spin?

machine: Hoover Eco Performa 1300

Will wash and empty fine, but will not spin on any cycle. The machine just sits and the motor rumbles, but never engages into a full spin

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

this ones easy you need a new motor. The motors in the hoovers are notorious for the actuators going this controls the motor speed and which way the motor should go. On average a new motor will set you back about £100+ vat and delivery charge personally i would buy your self a new waching machine. If your machine is under 5 years old the parts are free from hoover but what they dont tell you is that they cant supply them to you unless your a service engineer, i am still trying to work that one out myself, so it will cost you £90 or so to pay the guy to unplug a connector remove to small bolts then take the old put in the new which is about 5 mins and once he pretends to run his fancy multimeter over it tell you its done and ask for your money. Ps a lot of engineers will say that it could be the circuit board or the programmer on the front gone faulty this could be but if you can hear ticking from the timer on the front and the program runs its cycle its working as these are mechanical devices as for the circuit board if it was that your machine would not work properly period. Its a real pity about the hoovers they are a pretty good machine overall its a pity that they have terrible motors then nothing last for ever hop this helps you out.
