check the on and off switche if it's working, the ignition coil with a tester,make sure the coil's ground wire is grounded. the stator under the flywheel for rust or any sort of dirt,that is stuck to the outer side of the stator,and the flywheel magnets for any dirt, etc.Also the wire to the coil and spark plug cap are connected good. Snug tight at both end's of the wire. check the timing also for correct setting.
