Presser foot won't lift?

Frister & Rossmann Beaver 8 presser foot won't lift up when you raise the lever.

Any ideas?

The presser bar is a very tight fit, undo the presser bar adjuster screw all the way out or put the presser bar dial on 0, WD40 on the shaft and lift the presser bar up and down by hand not by the lever.
