ford focus c-max?

on top of my ford focus c-max engine something plastic has melted and now oil is leaking out of the top of my engine

go to a garage and ask em explain whats melted because rocker cover though plastic would take a lot more heat from engine to melt (only seen 1 melt after a fire )
