How do I set the timeing on my Yard Machine?

Is there a way to set the timeing on my Yard Machine, if so how do I set it. It's a B & S 18.5 hp engine.

The only way the timing can be off is if the flywheel key has partially sheared. If it's am Overhead Valve engine, out of adjustment valves can also cause "out of timing" symptoms.
