i own a 51 plate citroen xsara 1.4 which the edc light is lit up on the dash i took it into the garage to get the key fob recoded to the car and they said it needed a new map sensor they took the light off but it eventually came back on so i fitted a new sensor does the new sensor need coding into the car?

probably not but if the fault is repaired then you can delete the m.i.l from the system
