somebody tried to nick my vivacity 100 and now it wont start. I have been told that i will need to buy an immobiliser bypass, is this correct and if not what do i do. I dont fancy paying 115 quid +labour, help please.

sorry to say but if they have cut the igntion wires and touched a few of them together then theres a very good chance that they have blown the cdi/immobiliser unit.unfortunateley the wires are all black as far as i remember but there are numbers on the back of the switch and also on the unit so you may be able to rewire that but it may still need a new non chipped cdi unit ,try a company called electrex world they have a web site.
