How do i take my ignition barrel out of a Suzuki GZ125?

I've lost my only key to my Suzuki GZ125 and need to get the code from the ignition barrel to get a new one cut. It looks like i have to take the side panel out but to do this i need to take the fuel tank off, and to do this i need to take the seat off, and to do this i need the key to unlock the seat...which I've lost...Is there anyway of getting the ignition code without snapping off the side panel?

Ahh, i ended up just snapping the side panel off as i've found a replacement side panel on ebay. Your right and theres no code on it but i've taken it to Northwest keys and they should have a new key for me tomorrow! Thanks for your help anyway Adam, much appreciated.

ok the panel that has the key lock for the seat on it has a cable running from the loak to the seat latch, try to put something up behind it and pull on the cable or wherever you can get to it this should pull on the cable enough to release the seat .the ignition lock is not the type that has a number on it that related to a key like it used to in the 80's these locks need to be coded by a locksmith and a key can be made like that i used to use keys galore in london but a lockset may not be too dear for this bike anyway i get a price for a pattern lockset if you want ?
