Consider having the system power flushed if it is old (and especially if you have the micro piping) as a build-up of sludge can be an issue. It aint cheap at £400 but is better than a new boiller and worth doing even if a new boiler if later required. The plumber should be busy all day if he is doing a flush correctly.

I have just had this problem with the same boiler. It was the diaphragm. I have no idea what that is or what it does but it has now been replaced and I have hot water! However the plumber was in my house for 3 hours and it seemed to be less than straightforward to replace. Now a day later the pressure in the boiler has dropped to 0 and despite repressurising it, it has continued to drop to 0. I have called the plumber back to sort this and am bracing myself for a huge bill. Hope that helps!
