lights and hazard flashers out on daf 45?

HELP - lorry due for plating tomorrow and all my lights and hazards are out. (indicators and brake lights work okay)
checked fuses and they look ok -is there a relay somewhere that controls all?

The supply cable from the back of the alternator has either come loose or the spade connection may have broken. Either way - the lights and the hazards ( and dash and fog lights) are all seperate circuits but fed from same supply. If not at the alternator then trace the cable up into the cab to see if the joint conection has broken. This will be easier than dismantling the dash then working back

check that all the correct wires have been put back on to starter terminal [the big one],make sure fuses are ok.

check plugs under grill..behind central panel..

hi norb -no the stalk is nearly new and i had the relay for the hazards replaced a few months back, along with the hazard switch which was broken. The lorry then laid dormant for quite a while due to the snow etc (its a horse box so doesnt get used a lot in winter) then when i came to it, the starter cable was losse so I had that replaced which wasnt easy given that thecab doesnt tilt. im wondering if any of this mightve caused anything to come loose?

meant to add does the stalk feel loose ?? as as they where probably the weak point

there is 2 relays G001 for dip beam and G002 for main beam ..and G221 for the hazards ...all relays are plugged in to the rear of the dash ..the indicator relay will be the large ecu looking box bolted on the R/H side of the dash.unfortunately it's impossible to give all positions as there where changes ,after a certain chassis number ...it may be an idea to remove the centre panel under the grill as that is where the multi plugs are kept and the corrode ..
a few items may be at fault ..check if power is getting to lights rotary switch, then check if there is power coming from the switch .again same for hazard switch ...and same for stalk switch ...also check rear of dash where relays plug in ,just in case dash has had a meltdown ..sorry i can't pin it down to 1 fault ,been that long since i have worked on a 45 series ,my memory is fading lol..if you have ant more Qs feel free to ask .also if you do find the fault let us know
cheers
