Hi All,
Sadly to say i`ve just bought a renault megane scenic 1.9 dci 2004!
Well we`ve had nothing but problems with it! I`ve just spent £500 to get it back on the road and now renault are telling me to change the discs breaks i had fitted last week due to them being " After Market " as abs light is on! Should i change them at the price of wait for £ 256 ! Not sure what to do or weather my abs is working or not??

Non genuine discs should not bring on the ABS lamp. It needs code reading to see what is not working. Its probably just a speed sensor.

Lol, Your totally right and yes i do wish i`d found this site first! I`m stuck with a pile of junk as you say. I just want to get the ABS light sorted a sell the dam thing and never buy a renault again!

Had you looked at this site first, before buying yor car, and typed "Renault" in the search box, you would have seen 198 pages of queries about these cars and the many problems other people have had with them and perhaps, wouldn't have bought one, then again, you might have looked, and still bought one. You have learned an expensive lesson by buying a heap of junk.
