How do you get into a Hoover TV630 to put in a new relay?

How do you get into a Hoover TV630 to put in a new relay?
Paddy, August 2006
I have just had this problem with my dryer. It would only work if the on button was held in. Using the info and advice on this site, I have just replaced the PCB and now have a good working dryer again. Total cost £15.74 ( Part £10.75 post £4.99 plus Vat from 4silverhillspares.co.uk). Thanks everyone, especially Dave and his excellent instructions.

Happy New Year,

Gerard.

remove 3 screws from rear of machine that are securing the top in place.
Slide back the top.
Remove 2 screws holding front plastic fascia (one at each end on top)
pull off timer knob (it's tough but it WILL come off!)
Slide fascia towards right of machine, it will then come off.
Remove 2 small screws on top metal casing at front of machine.
you should now be able to pull the front panel toward you just enough to get a screwdriver in to remove the 2 screws holding the relay PCB in place.
MAKE A NOTE OF THE CONNECTIONS!
Cheapest place I found for a replacement was espares .com.
Hope this helps!
