Hi, I have a problem with my peugeot 406 2001 model GLX HDi left hand indicator which keeps coming on the and does not cancel. I have tried to slide the stalk off after disconnecting wires but cannot because of center console trim. Tried to remove star shaped screws to move the plastic housing so as to slide the unit out, but they are behind steering wheel. Any ideas. Simon

the only way is to remove the steering wheel and airbag.
