AEG induction hob E6 error code?

I have AEG 67670 KMN built-in ceramic hob. One day it started to show E6 error code and at first had only its induction rings not operational, and finally after some time conventional rings either. Could you please tell what could be the cause of it, and how to fix it?

E6 error code is not on the service force site, I got a response from AEG saying it could be an overheat error or the induction module. As the induction areas do not heat on my hob with error I suspect it is the latter. Haven't checked cost of spares yet, but if it's anywhere near the PCBs then new hob is probably same price.
