Frigidaire Washing Machine, my washer won't drain and I removed two black hoses from the water pump and removed the blockage but it still won't drain. Am I missing a step before attenpting to start the machine again.

are you sure that you got all the blockage out? you should be able to insert a finger into either the inlet or outlet port and rotate the impellers of the pump freely. also insure that your belt isn't damaged, sometimes when a blockage occurs, the belt is slipping on the pump pulley, you might have damaged the belt or the belt tension may need to be increased. you may also have another blockage in either hose ie : sock, undergarment, check both hoses completely. you also may have a blockage in the sump betweem the inner and outer tubs, but check everything else first.
