We had an ongoing problem with the oil light intermitently coming on and off (beeping). After taking to a local grage in Benfleet they checked it & could find nothing wrong but charged us 30.00 for the pleasure. We then took it to a citreon dealer and found out it was not electric & it was not oil pressure or related to the sump.
Simply it was the oil filter , which was cracked and required repalcing for 49.00.
