Hi. my alarm went off last night out of the blue. i dont use the alarm anymore and have had it for years. its a scantronic 9800 and it is showing bf on the keypad. i woul like to disconnect the alarm permanently, can i do this by disconnecting the power without the alarm goin off again?

the battery inside unit is faulty,if you take the fuse out of the spur unit,the bell box will sound for 2 or 3 hours,then die,or you get your ladders out and diss the sab in bell box
