400 convoy steering?

How do I adjust the steering on a y reg 400 series convoy 2.5. As steering is getting a bit to much play for me but past MOT.

o/s front chassis rail next to engine there is a 19mm lock nut on the steering box,slacken off and adjust centre stud to remove free play in box
