why is it smoking?

our old intergrated oven started smoking so we replaced it with another,we've had it a month, now this one is smoking, we clean it, we've bought new trays. we have a roast every sunday could this be the reason?

if you are open cooking roasts fat will splash on to the elements and will cause blue smoke which burns your eyes.this is the fat burning on the element.try covering the meat.putting the oven on highest temp setting and letting it burn off is the only way to get rid of the fat/smoke
