how can i fix the window of my renault scenic?

I have a '07 Renault Scenic and the driver's side window suddenly doesn't work.
The window is fully closed .I hear no motor noise and looks like there is no voltage at all.
Is that an electric or a mechanical problem?
The fuse box has fuse for every window?
The fuse box is in the engine's bay?

At first,I will try to clean the electrical connector and if i have no result then i'll take it to Renault distributor.
Many thanks for their help to "belfast4" and to "Denis Connoly" as well.

Having had similar problems with a Renault Megane,I suggest that you try the following. Strip the door panel until you can access the electrical connection and then check for corrosion (a bue powdery deposit)on the connecting pins.A fine wire brush will normally clean it. This is a recurring fault with Renault so be prepared for it to happen again.
