put car in drive set off revs high then lurch into gear . speedo not true speed,cutting out when pulling up,fuel excessive since problem started

DPO box or AD4 or even a 3 speed unit? Check ATF level first. The box symptoms seem to tie up with an AD4 forward clutch piston seal partly broken.
