all it takes is a little bit of brain power,not much,but a bit,how some people function is beyond me,they ask us guys such stupid questions,as long as they turn the key,or press a button and the alarm works,they are happy,they dont know how their system works,they dont want to know how their system works,they just want to , drive us nuts with their inane questions,weres my pills,i need my pills,nurse,get me my pills !!!!:-)

Well, I suppose if the Viper has been wired sensibly, as you turn your panel on/off that should reset the LED or even push the reset button that was fitted for doing the LED reset.

I think you will find that they are just lazy people.
Also ones who will try anything to avoid paying for a service.

I`m sure you know the type, they call you at silly o`clock about "your alarm".
I tell them mine is fine!

I do agree though they should at least read the handbook, and why oh why do they always ask the same stoopid questions. There is a search facility, if they found this site then surely they can type in the symptoms they are having.

How come there are so many people out there that do not know how their alarm works?

It does not matter if it is a DiY or even a Pro. system they just don't 'want' to know how to use it, but, then shout when a 'problem'? appears.

Do you know how to check your tyres, fill your water bottle.

Heaven forbid you have a break light that's gone, how on earth do you do something about that?

its just the led thats flashing,nothing to worry about,it still funtions,to stop it flashing you have to remove the power,when we fit vipers ,we use a 7 wire set up,this resets the led when you reset the panel.
